Kabelo is a graduate of the prestigious African Leadership Academy and is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Rights, English & Women’s Studies at Trinity College.
Kabelo is a recent Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) intern with the Global Programs division with the African Leadership Academy. Within the division, he worked alongside the Senior Programs Mangers and Head of Leadership to prepare and deliver impactful and groundbreaking in-residence workshops for educators, administrators, and Heads of Schools from around the African continent. He was responsible for the branding for the division and coordinated with external parties ensure a timely delivery Entrepreneurial Leadership Learning Systems products.
Additionally, Kabelo served as a Programs intern with New Faces New Voices, a Graca Machel initiative that aims to increase the influence of women in the financial sector. He was instrumental in launching a program for business women in South Africa: The Capital Initiative– which focused on enabling them to gain more access to capital by exposing them to strategic planning, finance and leadership opportunities that are vital for their respective enterprises. Kabelo spearheaded the recruitment, partners engagement and supported marketing and communications related activities.
An experienced project manager, facilitator, strategic planning, branding and communications. Kabelo has served taught and managed entrepreneurial leadership workshops around Southern Africa. He has helped launch a number of non-profit organizations and helped developed branding and branding and communication strategies for Young African Leadership Foundation, among others. He has been recognized by the Johannesburg Metropolitan Office of the Speaker for his commitment to service while he served as a student councilor.
